Serzh Sargsyan was elected Chairman of the RPA

During the 17th congress of the RPA, the members of the party elected a Chairman. The candidacy of the 3rd President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan was nominated.

525 delegates took part in the election, of which 523 voted “for” Sargsyan’s candidacy, 2 – “against”.

The RPA Executive Body was elected by secret ballot as well. The Executivr Body consists of 17 members.
