Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. TASS News Agency reported.
The Presidents discussed a number of issues, including the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Putin presented details of the November trilateral meeting to Macron.
“Putin presented the implementation of measures in the region related to the maintenance of the ceasefire, the return of refugees, and the resumption of trade, economic and transport ties,” the statement said.
During the telephone conversation, the Presidents expressed hope that the meeting of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of the European Council Charles Michel in Brussels will be useful. “Support has been expressed for intensifying the work of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs (Russia, USA, France).”
