The delegation led by the RA Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan is on a working visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt to take part in the 5-day work of the 9th session of the UN Convention against Corruption, which starts on 13 December in Sharm El Sheikh.

During the conference, the measures taken by the member states to implement the Anti-Corruption Convention and the main issues that arose during it will be discussed.
In particular, one of the target issues is the implementation of anti-corruption measures by member states in accordance with the relevant declarations adopted by the Conference, the improvement of the mechanisms of recovery and return of the illegal proceeds and the assets obtained through corruption, and international best practices in this field, corruption prevention and anti-corruption measures, international cooperation in all these areas and the development of mutual legal assistance structures between member states, as well as other issues.
The RA Prosecutor General will deliver a speech, presenting the complex anti-corruption objectives and process of both legislative and institutional reforms in Armenia, the vision of the RA Prosecutor’s Office to expand international cooperation in the field of transnational corruption, money laundering and illegal circulation.
Within the framework of the working visit and participation in the conference, a number of bilateral meetings of the RA Prosecutor General are planned.
