Private Vahe Vagharshak Manaseryan (born in 2002), a conscript of the N military unit of the RA Ministry of Defense, was killed on 10 December while resisting the offensive operations undertaken by the units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia in the eastern direction (Gegharkunik region).

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia shares the grief of the loss; expresses support to the family members, relatives and colleagues of the deceased serviceman.

Another eight servicemen are wounded. The condition of the six servicemen is assessed as severe, the other two, respectively, as a moderate “light”.

It should be reminded that earlier the Ministry of Defense reported that as a result of the skirmish launched by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the afternoon on 10 December, the Armenian side had one casualty and several other servicemen were wounded. The details of the killed soldier, as well as information about the health condition of the wounded soldiers will be reported later.

As of 14:30, the exchange of fire has stopped. The situation is under the full control of the RA Armed Forces.
