Earlier, we reported that a motion to detain 5 of the 10 caotives returned to Armenia on 4 December had been submitted to the court.
N.E.’s lawyer Carmen Poghosyan told Iravaban.net that the court did not uphold the motion submitted by the Investigative Committee, her client is free at the moment.
In the case of S.A., the court granted the motion for arrest. According to S.A.’s lawyer Levon Vardapetyan, the decision made by the court of first instance will be appealed.
The decision on the other three captives has not yet been announced.
As we reported earlier, the captives returned to Armenia are charged with Article 365, Part 3 of the Criminal Code, for violating the rules of combat duty or military service, which caused grave consequences.
