Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan met with French Ambassador to Armenia Anne Louyot.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador praised the Armenian-French relations and called for their further development.
The interlocutors referred to the invasion of Azerbaijani troops into the sovereign territory of Armenia and the situation created as a result. The also referred to the issue of the return of Armenian prisoners of war and hostages held in Baku.
Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan stressed that the Nagorno Karabakh issue is not politically settled yet. In this context, the role of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in the peaceful and comprehensive settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict was emphasized.
