On November 8, a telephone conversation between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan took place.

The ministers continued their exchange of views on the eve of the anniversary of the adoption of the trilateral statement of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia on a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on 9 November, 2020.
The heads of the foreign affairs agencies also touched upon topical issues of Russian-Armenian allied interaction, certain aspects of regional and international problems.
