Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a letter of condolences on the death of Honored Artist of Armenia Zhenya Nersisyan.

The letter, in particular, reads:

“I learned with deep sorrow about the death of Honored Artist of Armenia Zhenya Nersisyan.

The Armenian people lost one of the exceptional actresses of our time, who, with the characters she created, was one of the best representatives of the Armenian theater. The talented artist has performed not only in the homeland, but also abroad, staging numerous performances, teaching Armenian literature and performing arts.

Ms Nersisyan’s contribution to the establishment and development of the Armenian theater is invaluable, her fruitful activity will occupy a special place in the rich heritage of the Armenian theatrical art.

I express my deep condolences to Mrs. Nersisyan’s family, colleagues, fans and share the grief of the loss.”
