On the basis of the application of the President of the Republic, the Constitutional Court published the decision on the issue of compliance of Part 3 of Article 40 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “About Military Service and the Status of Servicemen” with the Constitution which states:

1. Part 3 of Article 40 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “About Military Service and the Status of Servicemen” corresponds to the Constitution.
2. Pursuant to Part 2 of Article 170 of the Constitution, this decision is final and enters into force upon publication.
