According to the Ministry of Health, in order to reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus disease in the country, the Ministry of Health is considering the issue of establishing additional anti-epidemic rules due to the tense epidemic situation of coronavirus disease both in European countries and in the Republic of Armenia.

There is a steady increase in COVID-19 cases in the Republic of Armenia, as well as an increase in deaths due to coronavirus disease, which is due to the low coverage of the population in coronavirus vaccinations.

Examining the international experience, taking into account the recommendations of individual organizations and citizens to take additional measures to reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus, the maximum period of validity of the 72-hour certificate of the coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test at work. The issue of setting 7 days instead of 14 days is discussed.

After the discussions, the draft legal acts will be summarized, and presented to the interested parties for opinions and suggestions.
