“I want to live and create in my hometown.” Arush Arushanyan has issued a new statement from the prison, which says in particular:
“Dear compatriots,
Being included in the electoral list of the “Armenia” Alliance, today I submitted an application to resign from the mandate.
I made such a decision for the simple reason that not only do I not see myself in the legislature, but I want to be by your side, continue to build our beloved community of Goris with you, I want to live and create in my hometown, invest all my potential for the prosperity of our community and for the welfare of my dear people of Goris.
At this stage, my main mission is to ensure the continuous development and progress of our beloved Goris community.
I want to assure that in the coming years I will work with more diligence and energy, so that each of you, who has given vote of confidence in favor of our alliance, will be convinced that our work is fair, that our goals are honest and far-reaching.
I have been and I will always stand by my people.
At the same time, I want to inform that I continue to support the second President of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, as I trust him to defend our homeland and the rapid development of the country.
God bless us all.”
