We have discouraging and dangerous statistics in our country. In the period from 1 September to 25 October, the data of Armenia are 18,115 new cases of diseases and 403 deaths per 1 million inhabitants… the YSMU Rector Armen Muradyan made a note about this.
“Dear citizens, please draw your attention to the fact that vaccines are effective in both preventing disease and drastically reducing mortality.
I will try to substantiate what I have said, based on the statistics of the most vaccinated countries in the EU compared to the morbidity and mortality rates of Covid 19.
Thus, as of 25 October, 2021, about 581.8 million vaccinations were administered in the EU, with about 80.0% of the adult population receiving the first dose and 74.6% receiving the second dose.
The leaders in the share of fully vaccinated population are:
- Portugal – 91.2%
- Ireland – 92.0%
- Denmark – 88.0%
- Norway – 86.8%,
- Spain – 83.8%,
- France – 80.2% and etc.
Countries with less number of vaccinated in the world are:
- Bulgaria – 24.2%
- Romania – 35.6%
- Latvia – 56.3%
- Slovakia – 52.6%,
- Croatia – 52%.
I present the analysis of the data available on the website of the EU Center for Disease Prevention and Control ( https://www.ecdc.europa.eu/…/data-daily-new-cases-covid… ), from September 1 to October 25 The number of new cases of Covid-19 per capita և deaths per 1 million population. And so
- 4429 new deaths in Portugal, 38 deaths
- Ireland – 15,915 new cases, deaths – 56
- Denmark 5228 new cases, 20 deaths
- Norway – 7496 new cases, 15 deaths,
- Spain – 2881 new cases, death – 56,
- France – 5329 new cases, 45 deaths.
And in countries with a lower vaccine population, the “death rates” per 1 million population have been reported.
- Bulgaria: 16,250 new cases և 612 deaths
- Romania: 23,303 new cases և 514 deaths;
- Latvia – 30741 new cases և 233 deaths,
- Slovakia: 12,431 new cases և 60 deaths
Croatia – 17,187 new cases և 168 deaths,” he wrote.
