A new batch of Chinese-made vaccine will be in Armenia in the coming days: Romella Abovyan

Romella Abovyan, Head of the Department of Epidemiology of Infectious and Non-infectious Diseases of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health, said at a press conference today, 13 October that a new batch of Chinese-made vaccine will be in Armenia in the coming days.

“There was a small problem with the quantity of vaccines, but at the moment I can say that we have absolutely no problem. Let me say that there are active discussions about the import of “Pfizer” vaccine. I think it will be informed in the near future when it will be in Armenia,” Romella Abovyan said.

She noted that she could not say anything definite about the terms, but assured that daily operative work is being done to have a sufficient number of vaccines in Armenia.

Romella Abovyan said that all vaccines are effective, and there is an opportunity in the country for the individuals to choose the vaccine they want.
