As it was predicted, the first snow is falling in a number of mountainous settlements of the republic starting from the second half of the day today. In particular, heavy snowfall was observed in Chambarak. The Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reported.
“The influx of Arctic cold air currents into the territory of the republic continues.
On 6 October, the air temperature in all regions will decrease by 5-6 degrees.
“Precipitations are expected in the whole territory of the republic, in the mountainous regions, in the foothills of Lori, Tavush, Syunik the precipitations will be observed in the form of wet snow,” the statement reads.
