The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia informs:

“On 1 October, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Arshak Karapetyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Armenia, H.E. Mr. Masanori Fukushima.

Ambassador Fukushima congratulated the Minister of Defense on assuming the post and wished him success.

Issues related to regional security were discussed during the meeting. The Minister of Defense presented the challenges in the security sphere of Armenia, especially after the end of the hostilities in Artsakh.

The possibilities of bilateral cooperation in the field of defense and perspective directions were also discussed.”
