The Ministry of Health informs.
“Taking into account the unverified news about the causes of deaths spread on the social platforms and on the Internet, the Ministry of Health announces again.
No deaths associated with coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination have been reported in the Republic of Armenia. It should be noted that “post-vaccination” does not mean “vaccine-related” causal link to the vaccine”, as vaccination against the disease cannot prevent deaths from other diseases in the population.
At the same time, we remind that a person is considered fully vaccinated if he or she has received 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccine, and the most effective form is obtained if at least 2 weeks have passed since the second dose. Otherwise, the person may have received the vaccine but the vaccine will not work in time,: the person will become infected with the coronavirus, develop a severe course of the disease and die.
We urge the media not to spread unverified, one-sided information.
To avoid such a situation, we once again appeal to our compatriots to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to prevent severe, extremely severe, and death cases from coronavirus disease.”
