The Ministry of Environment informs.
“Dear citizens, information is spread on social networks and various media, according to which an area of about 971 hectares was burnt as a result of a fire in “Arevik” National Park. This information does not correspond to reality.
“According to the data of the 23 September satellite monitoring of the “Hydro-Aeronautical Monitoring Center” SNCO of the Ministry of Environment, an area of about 703.77 hectares has burned.”
