On 17 September, President Armen Sarkissian signed a decree stating:
“Based on Article 139, Part 1 and Article 169 part 7 of the Constitution, as well as the proposal submitted by the Supreme Judicial Council 2021 SJC -74-VO-177 of 16 September.
To appoint Judge of the Civil Court of Appeal LEVON GRIGORYAN Chairman of the Civil Court of Appeal for a term of three years,” the decision reads.
It should be reminded that this position was previously held by Hovsep Bedevyan, who was elected a judge of the Court of Cassation by the National Assembly on 14 September.
