The largest tricolor in the country at the moment was raised in a solemn ceremony in Yeraskh community of Ararat region. (The dimensions of the flag are 6 m × 12 m, the height of the flagpole is 35 m). The Ararat Regional Administration reported.
The governor of Ararat Razmik Tyonyan, statesmen, employees of the regional administration and citizens attended ceremony.
The initiative belongs to the Chairman of the State Property Management Committee Garik Sargsyan. It is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, as well as to the memory of all the heroic Armenians who sacrificed their lives for its freedom and sovereignty.
