The Armenian flag is waving on the building of the Maastricht City Hall in the Netherlands. The RA Embassy in the Netherlands informed on its Facebook post.

“On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, the Armenian flag is hoisted on the Maastricht City Hall, where St. Servas, the first Armenian in the Netherlands, came in the 4th century.

Thank you Maastricht,” the post reads.

It should be reminded that the treaty on the establishment of the European Union was signed in Maastricht in 1992.
