On 7 September, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Arshak Karapetyan received the General Director of “South Caucasus Railway” CJSC Alexey Melnikov.
Congratulating Mr. Arshak Karapetyan on assuming the post of Minister of Defense, Alexey Melnikov presented the activity of “South Caucasus Railway” CJSC in the field of cargo transportation, the state of railway infrastructure and development prospects.
The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia emphasized the strategic role of the company in both civilian and cargo transportation for the needs of the Armed Forces.
During the meeting the parties discussed the further cooperation programs of the “South Caucasus Railway” CJSC with the RA Ministry of Defense, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
