Today, the Ministry of Emergency Situations is holding the biggest exercise of this year in Lusakert, which involves all the subdivisions of the rescue service. Secretary of the RA Security Council Armen Grigoryan was present at the training as well.
Speaking to reporters, Grigoryan said in response to a question about the importance of the training exercise, given the geographical location of Armenia, the creation of such capabilities by the Ministry of Emergency Situations is very important.
“I think these exercises show once again what skills we have acquired over time. Interestingly, there was no equipment at the last year’s training, drone equipment was not used much. In this respect, the work done is very valuable,” Grigoryan said.
As for security issues, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia reaffirmed that Armenia is ready for demarcation and delimitation.
“No work is being done at the moment. We are waiting for Azerbaijan’s response. We hope that Azerbaijan will respond positively, there will be an opportunity to start demarcation and delimitation work as soon as possible, so that we can resolve the crisis on the border as soon as possible,” Armen Grigoryan said.
