Artsakh Republic Human Rights Defender Gegham Stepanyan wrote on his Facebook page:

“We are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the proclamation of statehood with difficult and complicated challenges.

The path of despair is the easiest path to the cruel dilemma we face, which we have no right to choose.

The further course of the centuries-old struggle depends on our decisions: will we go with the faintest hint of the desired destination or will we get lost in the pages of new stories of loss? Will we believe in our future to be enlightened, or will we collect our scattered memories and be satisfied with them?

Glory to those who did not face a dilemma, who overcame any dilemma at the moment of their glorification, stamping with their immortality the nationalist unshakable conviction that Artsakh is Armenia and that is all.
