The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that the fire extinguishing works are going on in the grassy area near Kut village of Gegharkunik. Sixteen firefighters are working at the scene of the fire that started in the afternoon. The owner of the hay-fields also helps the firefighters. Due to the complexity of the relief conditions, the fire trucks were parked in different areas at a distance of 200-600 meters from the fire. Firefighters bring water to the scene with backpacks.

According to preliminary data, about 15-20 hectares of grass is burning. The fire was prevented from spreading in some areas, it was possible to save a large amount of hay, as well as harvested and not yet harvested grass. Duty is set.
