As a result of the shot fired by the enemy, contract soldier Gegham Sahakyan received a fatal gunshot wound. On 1 September, 2021, at around 11:10 am, as a result of a shot fired by an unknown enemy soldier, a contract soldier, junior sergeant Gegham Lyova Sahakyan, who was serving in the combat position of the N military unit of the RA Ministry of Defense, was shot in the left shoulder who died at the medical center between 11:45 and 11:50 on the same day.
The Investigative Committee reported.
A criminal case has been initiated in the 8th garrison investigative division of the Military Investigation Department of the RA Investigation Committee under Article 104, Part 2, Clauses 2 and 13 of the RA Criminal Code.
An investigation is underway.
