Today, on 2 August, the first session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia of the eighth convocation started.
There are three political forces in the newly formed parliament: “My Step”, “I have Honor” and “Armenia” Alliances.
The issues on the agenda are the issue of electing the NA President, Vice-President, Chairmen of Committees and other issues.
The parliament has 105 deputies, 71 of whom are representatives of the power force.
The sitting started with the anthem of the Republic. The RA President and the Catholicos of All Armenians are present.
