Criminal case has been initiated on the charge of the attempted murder on the grounds of national, racial or religious hatred or religious bigotry, in a manner dangerous to the lives of many, related to the case of receiving shrapnel wound of Yeraskh community head Radik Rafik Oghikyan.

On 19 July, 2021, at about 11:30 pm, the head of the administrative district of Yeraskh village, Ararat region, Radik Rafik Oghikyan, while being in the combat position of the N military unit of the RA Ministry of Defense, received a shrapnel wound in the right arm during a shootout with the enemy.

A criminal case has been initiated in the 8th Garrison Investigative Division of the RA Investigative Committee on the case, according to the 6^th, 10^th and 13^th points of the 2nd part of the 34-104th article of the RA Criminal Code.

The preliminary investigation of the criminal case is in process.
