On 14 July, 2021 at around 10:30, , a contract soldier Samvel Gagik Alaverdyan, received a gunshot wound in the left shoulder area, after being shot by an unknown serviceman in the direction of the combat post of the N military unit of the RA Ministry of Defense.
The RA Investigative Committee informed.
Alaverdyan died on the way to the hospital.
A criminal case under Article 104, Part 2, Clauses 2, 6 and 13 of the RA Criminal Code has been initiated in the Eighth Garrison Investigation Division of the General Military Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee in connection with the incident.
Investigation is underway.
