Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel on Luxembourg’s National Day. The message reads, in part:

“Excellency,

On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and on my own behalf, I would like to convey to you and to the members of the Government of Luxembourg my most cordial congratulations and best wishes for prosperity and development on the occasion of the National Holiday of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Armenia is keen to develop and expand multifaceted relations with Luxembourg in all areas of mutual interest. I would like to reaffirm Armenia’s readiness to make efforts to maximize the significant potential of cooperation between our two countries.

Taking this opportunity, I wish to express my deep appreciation for the principled stance shown by the Government of Luxembourg during the Azerbaijani-Turkish aggression against Artsakh and Azerbaijan’s encroachments on the sovereign territory of Armenia and for voicing your official position on multilateral platforms.

I am confident that the ongoing constructive dialogue between our two states will continue to develop and expand in the best interest and for the benefit of our two friendly peoples.

I wish ever new achievements to you and to the Government of Luxembourg.”
