“The Shirinyan-Babajanyan Alliance of Democrats has issued a statement saying:

“On June 20, the voting day of the extraordinary elections to the National Assembly, the car of Arman Babajanyan, the leader of The Shirinyan-Babajanyan Alliance of Democrats, was found with traces of a shot on the windshield.

The Shirinyan-Babajanyan Alliance of Democrats indignantly condemns this aggression in the political struggle, assessing it as a crime against the Alliance, which enjoys the sympathy of significant sections of the society and its leaders, the democratic electoral process.

We demand that law enforcement agencies identify the perpetrator or perpetrators as soon as possible and punish them in accordance with the law.

“We urge the public not to be intimidated by such low and filthy steps. The goal pursued by the enemies of Armenia’s democracy is to create an atmosphere of fear, which we will not allow together by freely voting for Armenia’s prospects and preventing the return of thieves.”
