Ahead of the 20 June snap-elections to the National Assembly, President Armen Sarkissian had a telephone conversation with Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission Tigran Mukuchyan.

The Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission presented to the President of the Republic the process of organizing and conducting the elections, noting that the Central Electoral Commission carries out all the necessary functions and measures defined by the legislation.

President Sarkissian stressed the essential importance of the elections for the country, to ensure their normal course by the CEC and other structures related to the elections
