Representation of Armenia in the European Court of Human Rights informs։

“In response to the application of the Government of the Republic of Armenia on the protection of the fundamental rights of the six Armenian servicemen captured by Azerbaijan on 27 May, the European Court of Human Rights ruled on 8 June that the 3 November, 2020 decision to apply interim measure applies to the mentioned captured servicemen, as well as to other captive and detained civilians. At the same time, on the basis of the decision of the European Court, Azerbaijan provided the documents related to the health condition of the servicemen, as well as the accusations made against the latter.

On the same day, the European Court of Human Rights rejected Azerbaijan’s application to lift its interim measures against those whose detention had not been confirmed. The latter continue to be in force.”
