The RA Ministry of Defense informed that on 8 June, contract soldier of the N military unit of the RA Armed Forces, private A. Katanyan disoriented due to the fog, and appeared in an area under the control of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. The statement of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan about A.Katanyan being a saboteur does not correspond to reality.

It should be reminded that on the morning of 7 June, the Azerbaijani armed forces once again tried to carry out engineering works on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the border village of Verin Shorzha, Gegharkunik region. Armenian subdivisions carried out countermeasures and demanded to immediately stop the work and remoe of the engineering equipment, after which the work was stopped and the equipment was removed to the Azerbaijani part of the border.

On 5 June, some of the cattle of the shepherd of the village of Kut, Gegharkunik region, while grazing in the vicinity of the village, moved to the positions of the Azerbaijani military. When the shepherd tried to approach the Azeri soldiers to bring the animals back, fire was opened in his direction.

The servicemen of the Armenian Armed Forces immediately approached the scene of the incident, in response to which the Azeri servicemen opened fire again. After the retaliatory actions of the Armenian side, the fire was stopped and most of the animals were returned. No one was injured in the shooting

Early in the morning of 27 May, six servicemen of the RA Armed Forces were surrounded and captured by the servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces while carrying out engineering works in the border area of ​​the Gegharkunik region of the Republic of Armenia, in the territory of the RA Armed Forces N military unit.

On 25 May, the  RA Ministry of Defense reported that a contract soldier, junior sergeant V. Y. Khurshudyan (born in 1989), received a fatal gunshot wound after the shootout which started after the shot of the enemy in the Upper Shorzha border area of ​​Gegharkunik region.

On 12 May,  some groups of servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces crossed the state border of Armenia and took action to enclose Lake Sev (Black Lake). The Armenian Armed Forces carried out tactical counter measures.
