5 citizens wishing to run for the post of National Assembly deputy applied to the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports to take an Armenian language test. Gegham Melikbekyan, the spokesman of the RA Minister of Education and Science, informed Iravaban.net.
“There were 5 applications, one was ill, and did not participate in testing, 3 did not pass the test, only one passed.
Gegham Melikbekyan did not say which parties those people were from, noting that they could not publicize personal data.
The test consists of three sections: spelling (35%), orthography (35%) and vocabulary (30%).
