On 1 June, Acting Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan visited the Border Guard Department of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in Armenia. The RA Ministry of Defense informs about this.

“Vagharshak Harutyunyan, accompanied by the head of the border department, Lieutenant General Roman Golubitsky, toured the museum of the Russian Border Guard Department, got acquainted with the exhibitions of the history of the protection of Armenia’s borders by Russian border guards, paid tribute to the monument symbolizing the unity of two friendly peoples.

“During the visit, the acting Minister of Defense, the head of the border department of the Russian Federal Security Service in Armenia discussed issues related to the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, as well as the demining of some parts of the border,” the statement reads.
