Today, President Armen Sarkissian received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Armenia Jonathan Lacote.

“President Sarkissian and the French Ambassador touched upon the border situation in Armenia, Azerbaijan’s encroachments on Armenia’s territorial integrity, as well as the issue of the immediate return of Armenian prisoners of war and civilians held in Azerbaijan.
“The parties exchanged views on regional security and stability issues, as well as the current agenda of bilateral relations,” the statement said.
