RA Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan had a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Nikolai Patrushev. The RA Security Council office reported.

The parties discussed the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and referred to the latest developments in this regard. Grigoryan praised the active efforts of the Russian side in the speedy and complete settlement of this issue.

The parties stressed the importance of the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the CSTO member states to be held on May 19 in Dushanbe for a comprehensive discussion of this issue within the CSTO. In terms of the CSTO response to the situation, Secretary Grigoryan noted the possible holding of a meeting of the Committee of Secretaries of the CSTO Security Councils.
