On 12 May, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ara Ayvazyan had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

Acting Minister Ayvazyan informed his counterpart about the recent incident on the state border of Armenia, noting the inadmissibility of such provocations by Azerbaijan.

Both sides highlighted the full implementation of the agreements reached on regional security and stability and the coordination of steps to prevent the aggravation of the situation.
