The Ministry of Health has submitted for public discussion the draft on making an addition to the RA Government Decision No. 276-N of March 27, 2008.
The draft proposes to define the type of portable non-communicable (immunosuppressive) medical care and service, as vaccinations should be carried out throughout the territory of the Republic of Armenia to prevent the spread of the COVID 19 epidemic.
The justification of this draft states that according to Article 43, Part 11 of the Law on Licensing, licensees engaged in the types of activities mentioned in letter “V” in the field of healthcare are obliged to carry out the activities subject to licensing only in the place specified in the license.
Pursuant to the Law on Making Amendments to the Law on Licensing, adopted on 6 May, 2020, an amendment was made to Article 43, Clause 11 of the same law, according to which the Government of the Republic of Armenia has the authority to define “3. The types of medical care and service provided for in point 3 of the section “Health sector”, which in accordance with the specifics of the nature of the care and service may be provided outside the place of activity specified in the license, which is evidenced by the Government of the Republic of Armenia 27 March, 2008 by the need to make an addition to the decision No. 276-N “On defining the list of types of medical care and services provided in the Republic of Armenia”.
