Today, on 27 April, the Supreme Judicial Council met with the judges of the Criminal, Civil and Administrative Chambers of the Court of Cassation.

The agenda of the meeting included issues related to the existing problems and challenges in the judicial system, strategic structures and guidelines for making justice effective.

During the discussion, the emphasis was placed on the implementation of the exclusive mission of the Court of Cassation, i.e. ensuring uniform application of laws, elimination of fundamental violations of human rights and freedoms.

The Supreme Judicial Council also listened to the concerns and views of the judges of the Court of Cassation on the problems in the system, discussed the possibilities of filling vacancies, raising salaries, providing social guarantees, and improving building conditions.

At the end of the meeting, the Council made a tour in the building of the Court of Cassation, talked to the staff of the office, got acquainted with the working conditions of the Bailiff Service located in the administrative building of the court.
