On 12 April 12, at 10:30 pm, the driver of a “Mercedes” car ran over the 27-year-old Kamo Amirkhanyan, who was crossing the road on a prohibited section on Arshakunyats Avenue, and died on the way to the hospital. The driver did not leave the scene.
An investigation is underway.
According to media reports, the driver of the car was world champion and Europe, Olympic silver medalist, weightlifter Simon Martirosyan.
