Today, the President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian met with the rectors of a number of state universities.

The Public Relations Department of the Presidential Administration reported.

Rector of the French University in Armenia Bertrand Venard, Vice President for Administrative Affairs of the American University of Armenia Ashot Ghazaryan, Rector of the European University Heghine Bisharyan, Rector of Gladzor University Zhora Jhangiryan, Vice-Rector of the Armenian-Russian University Pargev Avetisyan took part in the meeting.

The legislative package on “Higher Education and Science” was touched upon during the meeting. The rectors of the universities presented their views and approaches to the package.
