On 8 April, President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan met with the relatives of Artsakh heroes Igor Muradyan and Vigen Shirinyan at the Permanent Representation of the Artsakh Republic in Armenia and presented them with the “Golden Eagle” Order.
Igor Muradyan and Vigen Shirinyan were awarded the highest state award of the Artsakh Republic for their significant contribution to the Artsakh national liberation struggle and services rendered to the Homeland.
In his speech, Arayik Harutyunyan noted that during the Artsakh movement the Armenian people had both brilliant victories and hardships, but continued their struggle for a secure future. The President stressed that even today we are committed to the ideas and values of the Movement and will do our best to achieve our national goals.
