On 7 April, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Vagharshak Harutyunyan had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergey Shoigu.
The Ministry of Defense reported.
The heads of the defense ministries of the allied countries discussed the activities of the 102nd Russian military base in Armenia, the Armenian-Russian joint military group, large-scale reforms launched in the Armenian army, as well as a wide range of issues related to security issues in Syunik.
Vagharshak Harutyunyan and Sergey Shoigu also referred to the mission of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno Karabakh.
