Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Armenia Pavel Cheplak.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister thanked Poland for its support to Armenia in the fight against coronavirus, briefed the Ambassador on the situation in the country as a result of the coronavirus, the war, and the Government’s efforts to address humanitarian and socio-economic problems.
The interlocutors discussed the possibilities of developing economic relations between the two countries. In this context, the Ambassador noted the readiness of the Government of Poland to expand economic cooperation with Armenia.
Ambassador Pavel Ceplak informed the Deputy Prime Minister about the new humanitarian assistance for the fight against coronavirus, which will arrive in Armenia in mid-April. The ambassador informed about the assistance to the displaced Artsakh people, which will be provided through an international non-governmental organization.
During the meeting the interlocutors also discussed a number of other issues of mutual interest.
