The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia has issued a statement, which says:

“Today, one of the Armenian media outlets reported that an incident with the participation of the relatives of the missing and the RA Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan took place in Artsakh, in the building of the Ministry of Defense of the Artsakh Republic, during which a scuffle even took place between the relatives of the missing and the RA Minister of Defense.

The mentioned information does not correspond to the reality. RA Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan visited Artsakh in December last year. During the visit, a meeting with the relatives of the missing servicemen took place at the Artsakh State Emergency Situations Service, during which no incident took place.

Once again we urge to refrain from spreading unverified, and what is more, especially false information.”
