During his working visit to Artsakh, Chief Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan met with Artsakh Minister of Urban Development Aram Sargsyan. The Office of the Chief Commissioner of the Diaspora informs that the RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mesrop Arakelyan, the acting chairman of the Urban Development Committee Armen Ghularyan, the head of the office Sara Anjargolyan attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the housing programs in Artsakh were discussed, it was mentioned that there are up to 10 thousand Artsakh families who need housing at the moment. The High Commissioner stressed that the purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the situation and the needs on the spot, to present it to the Diaspora, to effectively involve it in the development of Artsakh. The parties stressed that housing construction should start as soon as possible.

An agreement was reached to continue the cooperation, to involve different communities of the Diaspora in the reconstruction and strengthening of the villages, cities and towns of Artsakh.
