The Ministry of Urban Development of the Artsakh Republic informs:
“About 700 private houses will be provided to the displaced people of Artsakh
As part of the renovation program for rural IDPs in the Askeran, Martuni and Martakert regions, the renovation of 71 private houses started as of 30 December last year, 34 of which have already been put into operation, and the rest are under renovation.
Renovation of the planned 700 private houses will begin in the near future, immediately after receiving the data submitted by the district administrations on the number of uninhabited houses.
An agreement has been reached between 28 construction companies and the Ministry of Urban Development of the Artsakh Republic to start the renovation of those private houses in parallel with the restoration works.
Rural private houses, in addition to interior and exterior decoration, will have a kitchen and an internal bathroom.
Prior to that, appropriate agreements are reached with the owners of uninhabited private houses in the district administrations. In addition, the program also includes those houses in rural areas where virtually no one has lived for many years.
The project will be funded through the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund.
