Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan is on a working visit to the Russian Federation

At the invitation of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Artur Davtyan is in the Russian capital Moscow to take part in the solemn events dedicated to the Day of the Employee of the Russian Prosecutor’s Office.

On the occasion of the professional holiday, the RA Prosecutor General congratulated his Russian counterparts, noting that the RF Prosecutor’s Office has a respectable 300-year-old historical past, during which it continues to develop in line with the new demands and challenges of the time.

The RA Prosecutor General noted that the high level of mutual understanding between the RA and RF Prosecutor’s Offices promotes active bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the general fight against international crime, effective implementation of mutual legal assistance structures, and mutual protection of the rights of our citizens in each other, friendly relations, the essence of historical, cultural and civilizational commonalities.

Artur Davtyan attached special importance to the work done by the Russian Prosecutor’s Office within the framework of the service of the Russian peacekeeping forces in the criminal sphere in the Artsakh Republic in the new situation created after the last Artsakh war. The establishment of relations based on mutual respect and trust, the guarantee of stability and peace in the region, which in turn stems from the prospects of restoring normal life in Artsakh, the security of our compatriots, the development of Artsakh.

Based on the above, 4 employees of the RF Prosecutor’s Office serving in the Artsakh Republic were awarded by the RA Prosecutor General on the occasion of strengthening the rule of law in the Artsakh Republic and their contribution to the cooperation with the RA Prosecutor’s Office.
