Quarantine is extended for 6 months: MOH

The RA Ministry of Health informs.

At the same time, taking into account the current epidemic situation in the Republic of Armenia, certain mitigations of the measures and restrictions applied during the quarantine have been made, in particular:

  • Non-citizens of the Republic of Armenia may cross the border, enter the Republic of Armenia through land border crossing points, if entering the territory of Armenia, a coronavirus (COVID-19) diagnosis of a polymerase chain reaction test confirming a negative test result of a maximum of 72 hours, sampling is carried out at the border checkpoint, self-isolation is instructed until a negative PCR test is obtained (previously, this requirement was only available at air border checkpoints).
  • Restrictions on holding public events have been repealed, including lifting the limit on the number of participants for public events (previously 60 participants) and the requirements for holding events indoors,” the statement said.
